Exhibited at Victoria and Albert Museum in London

Permanent collection of the Centre Pompidou in Paris

Named by Fast Company magazine in 2010 as one of the top ten international furniture designers

Zieta's research and practice are focused on computer-controlled machines in the processing of metal sheets in architecture and design.

He has developed methods of enhancing efficiency of technology for steel design, architecture, and construction. His interest in the use of steel sheets has been based on the material's affordability, ease of shaping, and efficiency. While steel sheets inherently present challenges with stability, Zieta's work in this area has led to the development of the revolutionary FiDU technology, among others.

In 2008, Zieta introduced his PLOPP stool and in 2009 he developed the entire ZIETA collection. He has been awarded the AUDI Mentor-Price, the Red Dot Award, German Design Council Prize, and was nominated to the "Schweizer Design Preis".

His products are permanently exhibited, among others, in Centre Pompidou in Paris, Pinakothek der Moderne München, Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich and Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe.
